In 2013, Jessica and Miriam left Lebanon to pursue their Master’s in Visual Design in Milan. Though they didn’t know each other at the time, they were living in the same city, shaped by the same influences of design, culture, and thought.

Both felt a shared pull to return home, and in 2014, they chose Lebanon as the ground to build from. That same year, their journeys finally intersected marking the beginning of everything. What followed was not just a friendship, but a continuous alignment one that unfolded over more than a decade. Rooted in a shared love for land, culture, design, and strategy, and grounded in values of ethics, depth, and community.

Across 13 years, their journeys moved through design studios and corporate environments, across projects, teams, and brand building. They were not only building work they were shaping how work is done, always circling back to the same vision. By 2026, that alignment reached a point of clarity. An intuition, a sense of completion not an end, but the closing of a cycle of becoming. A deeper question emerged: What kind of leaders do we choose to be? And how do we want to participate in the evolution of brand, culture, and society? From that awareness, Neptune was born.
